A multi season plastic trap for the monitoring and trapping of lepidopteran pests.
Material: Corregated polypropylene and sticky liner.
Longevity in field: Delta trap outer is reusable.
Sticky liners should be replaced once full with insects.
Packing: 1 trap, 1 wire hanger and 1 sticky liner
How to use: Remove silicone layer from sticky board. Fold up the sides of the trap and lock in one side of the base, leaving the other opening clear. Insert the hanger into the holes at the apex. Slide in the sticky liner and without touching the lure, drop it into the centre of the glue. Secure the remaining tabs. Hang the delta trap from a branch or pole 1-1.5m off the ground.
Trap density: Subject to application and plot size. For areas less than 2500 m2 use 2 traps/ha. For areas greater than 2500 m2 use 1 trap/ha to 1 trap/2ha (dependant on size of area being monitored) Wash hands before handling as nicotine can interfere with pheromone attraction.

- Border crossings
- Truck inspection yards at border control points
- Wholesale fruit and vegetable markets
- Food processing plants where imported fruits may be processed
- Vegetable farms.
When to use: Use Delta trap in areas where fruit and vegetable waste is discarded or cleanliness is a problem. Trap catch will mainly occur between evening an dawn.

Storage: Store in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight.
Disposal: Remove sticky liner and replace once full with insects. Dispose of away from monitoring area to reduce interference.
Target Pests: Small to medium sized moths and fruit flies, depending on the lure used
